Tyla’s single “Water” hits #1 on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart
Tyla, the Johannesburg-born and raised singer, makes another record with her hit song, Water as it rises to number one on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart.
The news has left the singer speechless as she further announced another milestone for the music video of the song.
Taking to social media, the star says the video has reached 10 million views on YouTube after 12 days of premiere.
“The Water MV hit 10 million views in 12 days…. Yohhh guys!!!”
Speaking about the billboard news, people flooded the star with congratulatory messages.
However, it was a thing of pride for some South Africans as an Amapiano song topped Afrobeats songs chart.
“Amapiano topping a Afrobeats Playlist. We here to take over. Piano to the world,” a tweep wrote.
